As of May 1, 2011, California Department of Public Health (CDPH) has suspended the surveillance for GBS cases.

Please continue to submit all GBS cases with a hospital admission date on or before May 1, 2011. CDPH will continue investigating these cases. To report a case, please contact the CDPH GBS Project at GBSReport@cdph.ca.gov.
